How to submit a claim with Travelers Canada home insurance

Travelers Canada offers a five-step process to guide customers through the claim submission process: reporting, activating, adjusting, settlement, closure.

After you contact your broker and your provider about your claim, a claims adjuster will call you to verify all your details and will send you a claim letter that walks you through their claims process along with any forms you may need to complete. The claims adjuster may recommend repair providers during this stage of the process. During the settlement stage, you may receive a cheque issued to you or to a recommended repair provider — depending on the circumstances of your particular claim.
